[Yakima Democrats] Yakima Couple Wins Twice in Fairtime Raffle

    Connie Stephens of Yakima won the HDTV grand prize at the annual 
fairtime
raffle of the Yakima County Democratic Party -and her husband, Larry,won $25
when his stub was drawn as the 10th prize winner Sunday, Oct. 7, closing 
day of the
Central Washington Fair
    Here are other winners:
    Sharon Cornelius, Toppenish, $200; Marian Rockstroh, Yakima, $200;
Robert Wahl, Yakima, $100;  Shorty Martin, Yakima, $100;  Joe Caruso, 
Yakima, $50;
Cynthia Sauve, Yakima, $50; Hector Mendez, Union Gap, $50; Guillermo 
Castaneda, Granger, $25;
and Larry Stephens, Yakima, $25.
    Jeff Miles of Zillah won the priceless Yakama Nation beadwork
    Official at the draw was Dr. Linda Kaminski, president of YVCC.
