[Yakima Democrats] Hear Howard Dean at Our Saturday House Party

*WANTED: * A couple hours of your time Saturday, Nov. 3.
Responding to National *Chair Howard Dean,* the Yakima County Democrats 
will gather
for a “house party” starting at noon in the North Conference Center at 
North 1st Street and Lincoln Ave.
There will be thousands of these events across the country.
The program will include a 20-minute video message from Chairman Dean 
reminding Democrats
that Saturday Nov. 3, is *ONE YEAR OUT from the 2008 Presidential Election*.
There will also be a 20-minute power point presentation by Erik Horeis, 
Eastern Washington field manager, on the State Party Challenge to 
produce 100,000 additional votes for Gov. Gregoire and to elect other 
Democrats next year.
Yakima City Councilman *Ron Bonlender* will give an update on his heated 
race with challenger Rick Ensey. Ron is seeking re-election, but must 
fend off the Yakima Republican Party that has jumped into the middle of 
this non-partisan race with smear attacks from a nasty Blog.
YCDCC will provide coffee and cookies. You may bring your own beverages 
and snacks and spend as much time as you like socializing with party 
members and getting revved up for next year’s pivotal elections.
While this is a free event, we plan to have some Hillary, Obama and 
Edwards Tee Shirts and buttons for sale.
