Fellow Dems:

    Yakima County Democrats are pleased to support Chris Ramirez in his 
campaign for the State Legislature as Representative for the 14th 
Legislative District, Position 2.
    A recent graduate of Pacific Lutheran University and an aspiring 
lawyer, Chris is the right candidate for the 2008 general election in 
which America's motivated, younger generation is lining up behind 
presidential candidate Barack Obama and pushing for real change and a 
new direction for our country.
     Chris, born and raised in Yakima and a graduate of Davis High 
School, knows the issues that are most important to this district - 
especially to the young men and women who have to move away for jobs 
after completing their eduction.
    Hear Chris's view on that and other subjects at the BBQ.
    WHEN:  Sunday, Aug. 3 starting at 1 p.m.
    WHERE: Kissel Park, a few blocks south of West Nob Hill Blvd. by way 
of 30th or 32nd Avenues.
    FOOD (all provided): Hamburgers, hot dogs and some version of 
Mexican, and beverages.
    Please come and meet this bright young man, his family and friends.
    IMPORTANT: Even though he has a spot on the Nov. 4th general 
election ballot, Chris will need your vote in the Aug. 19th primary 
election.
